I was given the choice of three roles to choose from for my creative project. These roles were Music tutor, Session musician and Professional portfolio. I decided to do my creative project on professional portfolio as it piqued my interest more than the others. I like the idea of complete creative freedom and the ability to start releasing my own music. I had three main goals for my creative project and they were posting the cover art for my song, giving a release date for the song, and the main milestone which is the release of my song onto all platforms including YouTube and Soundcloud. I hit a few bump along the road due to COVID 19 like not having the correct recording equipment, not having access to college facilities, not having help from peers and all public businesses being closed.

However once I figured out to how to move past all these problems my creative project was easier to complete. I first had to create my song. This step was by far the easiest as I already had multiple songs in the works so it was just a matter of polishing it up. The next step was recording which proved the hardest for me. As public businesses and schools were closed, I had to figure out how to record from home because I didn’t have any recording equipment. Even my phone was out of the question as it recorded with corrupted audio. I finally managed to get my hands on a working phone and recorded my demo and there wasn’t much producing involved in such a recording. I created my own cover art and this step was easy once I decided what direction to go in. I messed around with all types of artistic endeavours to ultimately end up back at the beginning with the choice of using photography. Once I had pieced all these key steps together, I released my demo to YouTube and SoundCloud. I passed Outcome 1, 2 and 3 so overall I would say that my creative project was a success.
